Our new 1900#
floats have been completely redesigned starting with a clean sheet of
paper. Our engineers spent many months designing these floats for
optimum performance and durability while considering weight constantly.
We have listened to our valued customers taking their requests
into consideration during the design process.
The departure from the rounded tops to the flat walkway will be
one of first noticeable changes. The large storage compartments have ample space for supplies
and they are large enough to handle gasoline containers. The
undercarriage has been completely redesigned for this new series of
floats; all manufacturing is done with the assistance of CAD/CAM
technology. Structural
fittings and hardware are also CAD/CAM technology cut from raw material
yielding consistent quality control of the parts.
Using only American manufacture sheet metal, fasteners and
hardware including hydraulic systems, guarantees rugged serviceability
for many years to come. The
hydrodynamic shapes of the undersides have been optimized to deliver the
performance necessary, whether you're hauling a heavy load in smooth
waters or pounding the surf.
The
quality and workmanship obtained during assembly by our highly skilled
sheet metal fabricators can be seen throughout the building process.
Starting with initial assembly and fabrication followed by disassembly,
and then traveling to the paint shop for all interior surfaces to be
painted with zinc chromate. Followed
by final assembly, where all previously painted parts are bonded
together with urethane sealant compounds. After the assembly process is
complete and the customer has chosen final color, the floats go to our
professional downdraft spray booth facility for the beginning stages of
the painting process. Typically
Dupont two-part epoxy primers are used followed by Dupont linear
urethane paints.
If
you're ready to step up to floats that can deliver exceptional quality ,
workmanship and performance while maintaining a realistic price
for the consumer, give us a call.
