Now
available complete firewall forward packages including every
item necessary to complete your engine installation. This not
only includes motor mount, cowling, prop, spinner, exhaust system
but all of the necessary hardware, control cables, and fittings.
This package is laid out with itemized parts boxes and
fastener bins to make your installation as easy as possible.
Woodcomp's new carbon fiber ground adjustable three blade prop
is included as standard equipment. This installation kit is
the same one we use on our assembly line at Czech Aircraft Works, this
assures the builder of the most complete kit
available.

CH-701 Firewall Forward

We are currently
manufacturing our new 701 firewall forward package that
includes modified Rotax air boxes. This package has
completely redesigned cowling which is much more
streamline than the old style with integrated radiator and
oil cooler. This package also has a big advantage of a
side mount NACA air scoop and K&N air filter integrated
into the fiberglass cowling. By supplying RAM air to the
scoop and directly feeding cold air to the reworked Rotax
air box, we are picking up substantial performance. Some
of the performance figures for this package on wheels are
105mph cruise and on new style 1200 floats 100mph cruise.
These firewall forward packages are the same packages that
we use on our production line at Czech Aircraft Works.
This assures the customer that every last nut and bolt
will be supplied and the kit will be complete. |

New style cowling
and airbox retrofit kit
This
kit has been developed after receiving requests from CH701 owners
who have the old style cowling and wanted to upgrade for better
performance.
Kit
contains new style cowling with NACA scoop and KNN air filter
integrated into the fiberglass cowling. The original Rotax airbox is
modified to fit in the cowl. Kit also contains oil cooler and
radiator modified brackets, scat tubing for the airbox and
carburetor heat pull cable, propeller extension and bolts and
modified heat shroud to include carburetor heat fittings.

This cowling design was started 2 years ago with a lot of
R&D along the way. The end result is a very streamline installation
with small frontal area and integrated oil and water coolers. This
package also has a big advantage of a side mount NACA air scoop and
K&N air filter integrated into the fiberglass
cowling. By supplying RAM air to the scoop and directly feeding cold
air to the Rotax air box, we are picking up substantial performance.
The cowling is designed for a 3" prop extension (necessary to improve
aerodynamic flow over the leading edge of the cowling). The cowling
comes with all air scoops installed, finished with white to gel coat.
